Courtney A. Suddath, M.A., LSSP, LPC-S Clinical Director
Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor
Courtney holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Texas Tech University and a Master’s degree in Psychology from Houston Baptist University. She has been working with children, teens, adults and families for over 12 years. Courtney has experience in working with children who have special needs, and their families as well as helping parents navigate the school system in the best interest of their children and teens. Her focus is to guide individuals and families to change patterns and routines, discover positive and productive communication techniques, and strengthen relationships therefore increasing success at home, at school, and in their community. Her work with parents is purposed to empower their family by learning effective communication techniques, creating appropriate boundaries within the framework of their family, as well as gaining tools to help them in parenting their children. My ultimate goal in counseling is to give children and families hope and tools to work towards healing what has been negatively affected by the circumstances of life.

Kristin Henshaw, M.S., LMFT-S Associate Clinical Director

Kristin (O'Connor) Henshaw is the Associate Clinical Director and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Supervisor at Cy-Hope Counseling. In addition to her counseling services, Kristin serves as the Marriage & Family Therapy Program Coordinator and Practicum Student Supervisor for Cy-Hope Counseling, overseeing the work of practicum students & licensed interns.
Kristin graduated from Texas A&M University receiving a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. During her time at Texas A&M, Kristin volunteered at Giddings State School for incarcerated youth where she created and ran a Youth Mentor Program for adolescents. Upon graduating from Texas A&M, Kristin completed her Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Oklahoma State University where she worked as a clinical intern at The Center for Family Services seeing clients for marriage counseling, family counseling, and individual counseling. During her time at OSU, Kristin served as a clinical student intern at Payne County Youth Services, counseling teens and their families in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Kristin also served as the clinical student intern at Ripley High School, and Ripley Middle School counseling students and running counseling groups for teens.
Upon graduating from Oklahoma State University, Kristin joined the Cy-Hope Counseling staff as a founding member and helped build and establish the counseling center.
Kristin specializes in working with couples, families, adolescents, and individual adults. Kristin is a certified Prepare-Enrich pre-marital counseling provider and is also trained in play therapy, Filial Therapy, and Parent-Child Interactional Therapy. Tami is working towards her Bachelors in Human Services and certification in Child and Family Services. She has spent many years volunteering with organizations that support cancer patients and their families, in addition to working with children going through their grief journey. This is something she plans to continue after graduating with her Bachelor’s and working towards her Masters in Counseling.
She has a passion for, and experience in, working with children and families that are working through difficult times. With patience, empathy, and humor she feels that families can work together to maintain a strong foundation.
Tami is excited to be a part of the Cy-Hope Counseling team, and looks forward to helping clients find a counselor that is best suited for their needs.

Wendy Wiseman, M.S., CCC- SLP
Speech Language Pathologist
Wendy holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders from The University of Houston and a Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from Texas Woman’s University. She has been working with children and their families for 20 years. For 13 years, she has held her certification with the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association as well as her Texas state licensure. For many years, Wendy had the opportunity to provide speech and language intervention for elementary and preschool-aged children as a classroom teacher in a private school setting that serves children with language and learning differences. She has most recently provided speech and language therapy services for preschool through fifth grade students at an elementary school in the Cypress Fairbanks Independent School District. Wendy has a passion for engaging with children and their families, serving as a positive influence in their journey through speech, language and learning intervention.She believes whole-heartedly in the benefits of early identification and intervention. Communication is a fundamental human right which connects us all and Wendy strives to help others achieve increased self-esteem and their most effective communication skills. Wendy has experience working with children who have: Developmental Delays, Expressive/Receptive Language Disorders, Pragmatic/Social Language Disorders, Apraxia, Articulation/Phonological Disorders, Autism, Attention and Memory Disorders, and Fluency (stuttering) Disorders.

Bryan graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Business. Upon graduation, Bryan worked as a youth pastor where he found his true passion, connecting with people of all ages to bring about positive change in one's life. While working as a youth pastor, Bryan graduated from Houston Graduate School of Theology with a Master of Arts in Counseling. He has a strong interest and experience in play therapy as well as a wide variety of tween, teen and young adult issues. Whether it is children, teens or young adults, Bryan's desire is to provide a safe environment where one feels comfortable to explore effective ways to resolve life's struggles and help clients feel better.

In particular, Angie enjoys helping people through difficult seasons of life including loss, divorce, mid-life changes, and other life-altering situations. I graduated from The University of Oregon with a Bachelor’s degree in psychology with an emphasis on child development and family theories. I earned a Master’s degree from Sam Houston State University in clinical mental health counseling where I specialized in play therapy and couples counseling. My areas of interest are developmental psychopathology, pediatric therapy, teen issues, marriage counseling, and child-parent interaction therapy. My goal is to help my clients realize their potential in life to reach wholeness, health, and happiness. In order to achieve treatment goals I use a variety of approaches depending on my clients needs including cognitive behavioral therapy, play therapy (children), and Gottman (couples). I have experience with ages 3-8, adolescents, teens, couples, individual, and parental training groups. I enjoy helping clients who struggle with depression, anxiety, obsessive compulsive, divorce, marital issues, trauma, child behavioral issues, suicide ideation, parent training, and parent-child bonding.

She strives to work with clients to help them reach a more positive place in their lives. Tiffany has a great passion for working with children, and works with the hope and belief that she will make as much of a positive impact in the lives of children as they have made in hers. Danielle graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Texas State University. She then went on to earn her Master of Education in Counseling from the University of Houston. Danielle enjoys working with a wide variety of people, including children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Danielle believes that every person has a unique and individual story, and has a passion for helping her clients work through the difficult times, while also celebrate the triumphs that life brings. Danielle uses different approaches to different clients depending on their situations, however, cognitive-behavioral therapy and person-centered therapy are typically the primary approaches used.

Sara Robertson earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Houston in 2014 and her master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Sam Houston State University. She has enjoyed her time working with adolescents and utilizing creative methods tailored to meet their needs. Sara has experience working with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and post-traumatic stress disorder. Additionally, she has worked with clients in a community counseling center, private practice, and non-profits, and truly enjoys working with a variety of clientele. Counseling isn't always about fixing what's broken; instead we take those broken pieces and create something even better. Sara takes an integrative approach and enjoy applying cognitive-behavioral interventions when appropriate.

Lannie has experience in various theories and techniques shown to help individuals, couples, and families. He believes opening a large toolbox to find the best tool that fits your challenge is key. He wants to focus on solutions, thinking about old problems in new ways. He wants to help you change the current behaviors you believe will help you get fresh results. He may consider approaches such as solution-focused brief therapy, CBT, family systems, Gottman, Adlerian, and others that fit your needs.
In addition to his therapeutic experience, Lannie had a 15-year career in the corporate world in communications and public relations. He has also worked for several years in Christian ministry, helping people find ways to get unstuck in life situations that get us all entangled. He is a husband and father and understands from the inside what individuals, couples and families are seeking.

Patricia Gonzalez earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of the Incarnate Word and her Master’s in Professional Counseling at Grand Canyon University. She has worked for several years with a nonprofit that assists families with disabled and terminally ill children and holds a license in grief counseling. She has worked with those in emergency and crisis situations as a 911 and police dispatcher and with military spouses and their many concerns. She embraces an integrative approach to counseling and looks forward to the journeys she will embark on with her clients. A favorite quote that describes her personal vision as a counselor is one by Maxwell Diawuoh, "This is your healing. It doesn't have to be pretty or graceful. You just have to keep going."
